History
February 20, 1985 ‑ the 10th City Clinical Hospital was founded on according to OrderNo.3 as of January 3, 1985 of Ministry of Health of the BSSR;
1985 ‑ the bed capacity was 300 beds. The department of cardiology, pulmonary department and department of gastroenterology were opened;
1987-1989 – departments of therapy and diagnostics and the electronic data processing center were opened;
end of 1987 – 5 departments of surgery and surgery unit were commissioned;
March 12, 1987 – the first surgery (strumectomy) was carried out;
January 1, 1988 – the first ophthalmological surgery was performed;
1989 – the department of intensive care and a 500-seat conference hall were opened;
1993 – laparoscopic equipment was purchased. It was used during video-endoscopic surgeries;
April 1, 1994 – the center of eye laser microsurgery was opened;
1995 – the first laparoscopic surgery was performed;
March 3, 2008 – the room of CT was opened;
March 4, 2009 – the room of angiography was opened;
June 16, 2009 – the city department of medical rehabilitation (the clinical center of traditional Vietnamese medicine) was opened;
January 26, 2010 – the first X-ray endovascular surgery for coronary arteries was performed.
Vladimir E. Lyakh was the first Chief Physician of the hospital.
